There’s pretty much sports on the TV every night at my house. My wife is a sports addict. Anything Chicago or hockey and its on the TV. She switches back and forth. All while I type out this list. I’m a lucky man to have a wife that knows all the players and loves sports as much as I do. Adding to the fun this year is having the Sox and the Cubs be so good this year. Last night our excitement came as we caught the end of the RedSox Yankees game and as we watched one of the worst umpires I have seen since I’ve watched baseball. Ron Kulpa couldn’t decide what he wanted to be a strike or a ball. Bases loaded with one out for the Sox and they were down by one. The call was 3 balls and one strike for Big Papi and the pitcher through a ball that almost bounced in the dirt. Kulpa called it a strike and Big Papi lost his shit. Sox manager ejected and after another questionable strike call Papi had to be restrained. Next guy struck out and game over. I looked up Ron Kulpa and this seems to be typical for him. I really don’t care that much but have to admit he was almost comical. Again, great to have a wife that was screaming at the screen even though she has no interest in any team. Just hates bad calls.
