Hosting conference also attracts domain name companies.
WHD.usa (World Hosting Days) kicked off yesterday at the Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass outside of Phoenix.
Now in its second year in the U.S. (but many more globally), WHD.usa attracts a number of hosting companies and those that partner with them. Among these are a number of domain name companies.
Some of the domain name companies in attendance are Rightside, GoDaddy, Tucows, InterNetX, ParkLogic, Uniregistry, Radix and .Club.
At noon local time today, five new TLD companies will take part in a panel called “Delivering On The Not-Com Revolution”.
This year’s event has a different vibe than the one last year, which was held at a ski resort a couple hours from Pittsburgh. Last year’s event was built around social and entertainment events; this year is more about programming.
