Shemika Charles Amazes America’s Got Talent Judges With Limbo Skills Under Truck

Shemika Charles blows minds as she limbos where no America’s Got Talent contestant has limboed before. Shemika of Buffalo, New York is known as the Queen of Limbo.

The Trinidad and Tobago native is a two-time Guinness World Record holder for Limbo Dancing. Just last year, in Beijing, China, she broke the record for “The Farthest Distance to Limbo under 12 inches.” And she nearly broke the Internet when she limbo’ed under a car — while carrying two trays of drinks, and she didn’t spill a drop!

Charles got four “yeses” from judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Mel B and Howie Mandel, and will now move into the next round of judging.

Charles performed a series of limbo dances to Sia’s “Cheap Thrills.” She is a two-time Guinness Record holder, and has performed on other national TV shows, including “TODAY” and “LIVE With Regis and Kelly.

In Buffalo, Mayor Byron W. Brown declared Oct. 8, 2010, as “Shemika Charles Day,” according to Charles’ website.
