Jeki Yoo Amazes America’s Got Talent And Simon Cowell With Hidden Card Magic Trick

Magician Jeki Yoo of South Korea looked to impress Simon Cowell, and make his American dream come true on America’s Got Talent. Jeki turned to magic after his mother died. Jeki teamed up with female magician Elli K. Park, and together they became well known for their “Quick Change” performance. They set the Guinness World Record for changing into 9 outfits in 30 seconds.

Jeki brought a large plastic egg to the judges’ table. After comparing the egg to Howie Mandel’s head, he then set half of the egg aside and revealed a deck of cards inside. Jeki then asked guest judge Laverne Cox to sign the card. After that, he had Heidi Klum attach a sticker to the back of it. He then proceeded to place the bowl face down on the table.

Several times, he put the card back into the deck, shuffled, and then revealed the card under the bowl. He made the entire deck of cards disappear in his hands, except for one card. He then changed that card into the signed card. After placing the signed card in his pocket, he revealed the entire deck of cards under the bowl. “What?!” Simon said, at the conclusion of the act.

Cowell, who did not like Jeki’s audition in the first round and actually gave him a “No,” said that he definitely stepped it up this time and was impressed.
