Megyn Kelly being fired for calling Sean Hannity an offensive name on live TV is fake news. There is no truth to a report that the NBC host insulted the Fox News host in response to Hannity’s defense of Roy Moore, who is running for the open Senate seat in Alabama and is accused of sexual misconduct.
Where did this fake news originate? The Last Line of Defense published the fake news article on Nov. 9, 2017, reporting that Kelly called Hannity an offensive name for his defense of Moore on live television and now would be fired for having done so. You can read the fake news below.
Megyn Kelly, on a live segment of her show, Megyn Kelly Today, decided to comment on Sean Hannity’s defense of Roy Moore…by calling him a “f*cking pig.” The gaffe was caught by network censors and immediately deleted, and since then NBC has worked feverishly to keep any home recordings off of the big tube sites.
NBC’s official response to the situation won’t be announced until tomorrow morning, but LLOD correspondent in the field Skip Tetheluda reports that it isn’t good news for Megyn:
“That kind of disrespect for a former coworker in an industry where trust and contacts are everything is about to ruin Megyn Kelly. NBC is firing her flat out after her show tomorrow and without Fox to fall back on, her outlook is bleak.”
What that means is that Kelly is probably going to end up a “conservative” commentator for some shill network like MSNBC where she can join the likes of Joe Scarborough as Trump-hating “Republicans” who have turned on their party and their principals.
Calls to Hannity’s office haven’t been returned yet, but he did tweet that the segment hurt:
@Hannity 26 minutes ago – I’m hurt morte by who iut came from than the insult itself. I thought you knew me better, M.
There is no truth to the above story. There are no reports from any legitimate news outlet covering this alleged story. Additionally, there is no record of the tweet on Hannity’s timeline.
In a Deadline interview, Kelly who was with the Fox News network for 12 years before moving to NBC this year addressed the sexual harassment she allegedly endured at the hands of the late Roger Ailes, former CEO of Fox News. Here are some examples of people sharing the fake news on social media.
