Seattle Restaurant Unveils ‘Hamilton’-Inspired Menu To Celebrate the Arrival of the National Tour

History has its eyes on the Emerald City. As the second national tour of “Hamilton” arrives in Seattle, Washington, a local restaurant is debuting a menu inspired by some of the hit Broadway musical’s most iconic songs—and fans are sure to be satisfied by the delicious drinks and dishes.

According to Food & Wine, theatre enthusiasts can try the “Hamilton”-inspired menu at The Carlile Room in Seattle. The limited-edition menu includes drinks such as the “Hamilton Hurricane” and “My (Jell-O) Shot,” which features a red, white and blue design. Specialty dinners include “Buns and Nips,” a dish inspired by Lafayette’s fast-paced rap “Guns and Ships” from Act One of the musical, and “The Battle of Porktown,” which is a nod to the song “Yorktown (The World Turned Upside Down).” Other specials, such as “Aaron Burrger” and “Satisfries,” can be found on the restaurant’s website.

The restaurant has also created several special menus to celebrate other musicals, including “The King and I” and “The Sound of Music.” The Seattle Met reports that the use of wordplay and puns are popular when it comes to the names of their menu options and cocktails.

“Hamilton” is a Tony Award-winning musical that tells the story of Founding Father Alexander Hamilton through the sounds of hip-hop, rap and R&B. Lin-Manuel Miranda’s hit musical, which opened on Broadway in 2015, is currently playing in New York, Chicago and London and has two national tours.

The national tour’s Seattle stop is now at The Paramount Theatre and will run through March 18. The Carlile Room’s musical-inspired menu will be available throughout the run.
