It seems like Venom marketing campaign has started in full gear, after the odd Brazilian comic-con video, but today things heat up with the reveal of its first teaser poster. Heralding the arrival of the films teaser trailer scheduled to drop tomorrow.

Venom will bring Spider-Man’s twisted antagonist to our screens, giving us a look into his conflicted anti-hero persona and what lies beneath the symbiotic. Tom Hardy, plays photojournalist Eddie Brock, who somehow becomes merged with an evil being. But what will he face? Nothing is known but the trailer is set to reveal a boatload of questions. While plot details are unknown the project is being developed by Sony’s Columbia Pictures as a potential spinoff of Spider-Man: Homecoming. It’s unclear if Venom solo movie will be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe or if it will involve Tom Holland’s Peter Parker.
One of Marvel’s most enigmatic, complex and badass characters comes to the big screen, starring Academy Award nominated actor Tom Hardy as the lethal protector Venom.
Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed, Jenny Slate and Woody Harrelson fill out the main cast, with Ruben Fleischer in the director’s chair. Venom will attack our screens on 5 October this year.
